Ok, this has really been bugging me so I'm going to let it out. MORMONS DON’T FREAKING PRACTICE POLYGAMY AND HAVEN’T EVER SINCE IT WAS MADE AGAINST THE LAW!!!!!!!!!!! Furthermore, anyone that still practices polygamy and claims to be Mormon is LIEING! If they really were a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints (aka LDS or Mormon) they have since then become ex-communicated (aka KICKED OUT!) Now, I’d like to give you a little history on why Mormons started to practice polygamy in the first place. Shortly after the Civil War, families were really hurting. All of the husbands had died in the war leaving behind their widows and children with no way to support themselves. In order to help the women and children, Joseph Smith had the members practice polygamy (which the REST of the nation was also doing). But there were three rules: 1. The first wife had to approve and she had a say in who the husband could marry; 2. In order to be allowed to have more than one wife, you had to first be called (or asked) to do this by the church authorities; and 3. You couldn’t marry another (living) man’s wife. And as I said before, the ENTIRE NATION was doing this as well! Ok, I’ve said what I wanted to say, and I’m done… for now.
